Clive Mellon LLB (Hons) ACMI AIEEM
Director

Clive Mellon has over 20 years experience of working in the environmental sector. His career has combined environmental policy and legislation, project management, ecological survey, site management and practical conservation.

Clive obtained an Honours degree in law at Queen's University of Belfast, and worked with the Ulster Wildlife Trust and National Trust before spending 13 years with the RSPB where he was Conservation Manager and Acting Director. Clive has travelled extensively both in Europe and elsewhere, and has undertaken ornithological survey work in China and Mexico.

Dave Allen HND (Env. sciences) AIBiol AIEEM
Director

Dave Allen has over 25 years experience of working in the environment sector, primarily with RSPB as a warden and Reserves Manager. Dave is experienced in a wide variety of habitat management practices, survey and monitoring methods and bird identification.

Dave studied Applied Ecology at Wolverhampton and went straight into contract work with RSPB in 1977. Dave has sat on the NI Bird Records Committee and has contributed widely to ornithology in NI. More recently (1988) he has been involved in the study and recording of macro-moths and sits on the recently appointed records panel. Dave is widely travelled throughout the Northern Hemisphere and has organised two expeditions to China as well as leading tours for Naturetrek.
